Kayaking with dolphins | Busselton to Mandurah | Vlog 58

Today is my last road trip day and on the itinerary is Mandurah. This time there will be no unplanned cave day but an occasion to visit the actual city of Mandurah! As I usually do, I started my day by taking a stroll around the harbour. One of the first things I saw on the way was a pelican. I don’t remember seeing one in real life before. I know it’s a little random, but I wanted to tell you how funny they look and how intrigued I was with them.

Last day: Mandurah

Walking further along the coast, I bumped into a place that hires out kayaks. And, if you have known me for a little bit, you guessed it right! When something like that pops up, I can’t resist.

What a fantastic experience! It wasn’t an average kayak trip, though. Pretty much the whole time, I was surrounded by dolphins that were swimming with me. If that wasn’t worth getting into the water, I don’t know what is. Having a kayak trip with dolphins is another thing checked off the bucket list!

My day in Mandurah was a great way to end this road trip. Tomorrow, I’ll return to Perth to bring back the van! For my last night sleeping in the car, I drove somewhere between Mandurah and Perth. Since it was also the last chance to see a sunset from my van, I had to make the most of it! It was hot, though, probably one of my hottest nights in Australia so far. But it was worth it, another incredible sunset! It’s becoming a tradition, and I like it! East coast, I’m on my way, surprise me, overwhelm me!
