The 1841 meters long jetty | Prevelly to Busselton | Vlog 57

Today I woke up experiencing two different feelings. I suddenly realised that this fantastic west coast adventure was slowly ending. But, then, on the other side, it has been great, and I could have never imagined it to be this good. There are only two days left with the car now, so I will head towards Perth again. Nothing to be sad about because I also booked my flights to Cairns

Firstly, I’m going to Busselton again, where I will also spend the night. I’m super excited to start the east coast! If it’s going to be as good as the west coast, I’ll be a happy man!

Busselton

I skipped Busselton earlier in my adventure because I planned this for the way back. (Yes, I know, I was shocked myself, I did plan this?). Anyway, Busselton is famous for its jetty. Besides being rated the best place for sunset in Australia, the jetty also goes 1841 meters out to sea (almost 2km). At the end of the jetty, there is an underwater observatory. I’m still on a budget, and this car adventure, as great as it was, got me way above my budget. Therefore I have no plans to visit it, but I’m still excited to see it from above.

I’ll explore some beaches and rugged coastlines for the rest of my time here. Since it’s my second last day on the road, I want it to be easy. The main goal is to hang around and enjoy my last days on the west coast. I’ve been sightseeing like crazy, without much rest, but today is the day! An easy day in Busselton with the jetty and one of the best sunsets in Australia.
