Today, I’m from The Netherlands | Sydney | Vlog 117 and 118

Exploring Sydney wouldn’t be the same if I wouldn’t do some days of random wandering around. There are many things to visit and see but also none at all. These are my last days in Australia, and I don’t feel the need to rush through everything.

The key for Sydney? Explore in a relaxed way. It’s been three months in Australia, and it has been a great adventure already. Remarkable enough to take it more leisurely in my last week. Also, this has nothing to do with visiting Sydney, but I only brought a phone and a tablet when I left Belgium. Yes, all these blogs and vlogs are made on those devices. So, today I went out and bought myself a Laptop. It’s stupid because I have such a great Laptop at home. But with a longer itinerary and a working holiday in mind, I need one!

Sydney or the Netherlands?

Many Dutch people are living in Sydney. So, with a public holiday for them in the Netherlands and running into two Dutch girls in the hostel, I went out as a Dutch for the evening. It was a good night, singing plenty of Dutch songs, having Dutch food and talking with our Northern Neighbours all evening!

It’s been two easy but great days, and besides doing some of the attractions and main sightseeing, the most notable activity was probably Queen-day. They have yet to go, and I was looking for some company to go to the mountains together. That works out well! Tomorrow, I’ll go to the Blue Mountains with the identical girls.

The last few days have been treating me exceptionally well, and so did the weather. But winter is slowly coming to Australia, and the difference between a couple of months ago and spending more up north is noticeable compared to the current temperatures. Silly me thought that it was always 40 degrees in Australia, haha! Good thing I’m heading to Indonesia soon.
