Celebrating 50 days of travelling in Coral Bay

It has been 50 days since I left Belgium to travel. Where else would you want to spend and celebrate a day like that than in Coral Bay? It just sounds like a fantastic spot to be, and I can assure you it is! One of my favourite names for a destination in the last 50 days. In addition, I’m driving and sleeping in a van while going along the west coast of Australia; things are going well. I’m thrilled to be here!

What’s on: day 50:

Another sunny day on the Ningaloo coast today. Unfortunately, I’m already on my way back to Perth. This road trip is going too fast; however, I like fast travelling and constantly being on the move; it also came with the realisation of Australia’s size. I need more than three months to see everything I’ve planned here. But we can think about those things later; I can continue my trip to New Zealand and then come back for some extra time.

I went snorkelling the whole day to make the most of my time at the Ningaloo Reef. It got me thinking again about getting diving lessons. Because I rent the car, it will not be on my west coast adventure. However, my next stop will be Cairns on the East Coast, the ideal place for dives on the Great Barrier Reef. Wouldn’t it be amazing getting my first diving experience on the most extensive reef in the world?

I will likely have to buy a new GoPro, it has had enough of this trip, and without my spare GoPro, there wouldn’t have been any footage of today. Any donations are always welcome!
