I thought it was the dry season. | Chiang Mai | Vlog 8

I’ve been travelling for an entire week now! Starting in Bangkok last week, I’m currently on my second destination in Thailand, Chiang Mai! I wrote a blog post yesterday to celebrate the first week, which gives a little more detail into my travels. It’s also already the third vlog in Chiang Mai, and if you haven’t checked out yesterday’s adventure to the Sticky Waterfalls, you can find that following this link! Definitely one of the highlights so far!

I could not be happier with this tiny but still brave achievement! Travelling solo has been treating me better than I ever expected. I saw so many cool and beautiful places and already met many other backpackers on the way! It’s also great to read all those lovely reactions to my daily video on social platforms. It gives me so much energy to keep making the videos.

A rainy vlog in Chiang Mai

On the eighth day of my Thailand adventure, we woke up to a rainy Chiang Mai. Nothing to worry about; it’s the first rainy day since I left Belgium. Unfortunately, we had to skip onto other plans as driving in the rain the whole day didn’t seem that appealing. No stress, as the last days were busy enough, and it gave us time to relax a little bit. We walked to the centre of Chiang Mai, had lunch and went for an authentic massage. After our massage, the weather was better, so we decided to see some temples nearby.

In the evening, we all had dinner together at a food market. Unfortunately, this third vlog in Chiang Mai will also be the last one in Chiang Mai. I had only planned three days here, and in the evening, I hopped onto the bus to get to my next destination!
