Another two days in one video, as the first day I travelled from the Gold Coast to Byron Bay with my 45-day bus pass. I was excited to get here. Byron Bay was one of those destinations that I always saw pop up in travel videos of Australia and therefore was high on my to-visit list. Besides, after Western Australia and Queensland, I’ve entered New South Wales, the third state I’m visiting! For this trip, only the ACT is still about to follow.
I’ve decided that Tasmania, South Australia, Victoria and the Northern-territory will be for another trip. Most likely, it will be for this travels. But I’m still determining where I will go after Australia and if I’m coming back for a year or just for another 3-month visa. I’m waiting for a sign. My travels usually provide for themselves. I’m curious about what will happen!
Byron Bay:
My first days in Byron Bay started great. My hostel is a fantastic place to hang around, and I took some time to explore the area. These east coast towns are all well-known for their beaches, so I went out to wander around. With Byron being a popular surf spot, I was busy checking out all the beaches.
The atmosphere over here is relaxed, and on the streets, there are street musicians everywhere! Also, there are some fantastic walking tracks everywhere, so I also went hiking. I’ll give you a good overview in the upcoming blogs and vlogs!
Something I’ve been looking forward to is seeing the lighthouse over here. I’m indeed looking forward to it! I’ll meet up with another friend from Agnes water in the following days, so I’ve kept that trip for another day. But tonight, we are going out for Karaoke in another hostel down the street! Therefore, I’ll see you tomorrow for more Byron Bay updates!
