My walks go everywhere and nowhere (at the same time) | Bogor | Vlog 124

One of the downsides of travelling must be spending a lot of time on public transport. Indeed, it’s truly amazing to see so many places, and even going from one to another is always pretty exciting. But, after a while, it’s another bus, train or plane. I’m not complaining, and I’m having a great time. It was a thought that I wanted to express here in my blogs and vlogs

The same was the reality today; after breakfasting and walking to the train station, it was already time to go. After Java and Bali, I’m returning to Jakarta, so I only decided to spend one day here. My destination today is Bogor. A city about 50 kilometres south of Jakarta. Also, a destination that tourists only visit a little, so I decided to come here.

Bogor:

My first day in Bogor was everything I wanted from it. I walked around, and I walked around everywhere and nowhere. I saw many things that I wouldn’t have seen in other circumstances. My goals here were to see how the people live here and where they live. In addition, I wanted to enjoy being in the middle of an Asian city I didn’t know. In the evening, I felt that I had succeeded in that goal. I got myself lost a couple of times and loved it accordingly.

If I missed one thing in my travels, it was spending longer at certain places. At the beginning of my travels, it was logical that I didn’t do it. There isn’t much time for staying longer or even visiting less-touristic cities on a nine-month tour around the world. But, once I decided to extend this trip, I knew I had time for those places. It can be something other than an exciting tourist place. I want to explore the world at my own pace and by going to some random destinations. In conclusion, Bogor is one of them. See you on day 125!
