I am becoming a travel blogger | Travelling through Asia!

Welcome to my second blog post; travelling through Asia. It’s the 10th day of my journey, and I made time to write and ensure that everybody is up-to-date. I’ve decided to post daily videos of my travels. You can find these videos on blogs and vlogs, YouTube and Instagram. Seeing that I’m starting to get some extra followers and that everybody likes my daily videos is inspiring. Thank you so much for all the support! It makes it much easier to find the energy to edit all the content.

My plans and adventures are constantly changing as I travel from Thailand to Cambodia. There are fewer solo travellers here than at my previous destinations, but I still meet many amazing people. What seemed to be a pretty lonely evening suddenly turned out to be an evening with great company!

For the past few days, I have gotten the nickname ‘the matchmaker’. I deserved this nickname because I matched all the people I got to know in Bangkok with the travellers I got to know in Chiang Mai. That’s so cool! My plans, unfortunately, went in a different direction, but that didn’t stop the people there from still sending me pictures of their evenings together.

Travelling through Asia

Travelling through Asia started in Thailand, and it was great! Looking back at it, I was only there for a relatively short time, but I did everything I could do in that timeframe. In addition to getting to know the metropolis of Bangkok, which is famous as the capital of backpackers, I was familiarised with classic Thailand in Ayutthaya and the somewhat quieter North in Chiang MaiThailand was an excellent starter for this trip because it now feels like I went 30 years back in time to Cambodia. Very curious about what the next few days will bring, but with Angkor Wat ahead, it can’t go wrong. I’m ready for this next adventure.

As far as the travel itself goes, I am getting acclimated to this life as a solo traveller. Every day is surviving unpredictable situations and not knowing where and when you will sleep. It’s normal not to know what day it is or what will happen the day after.

Every morning, I search for the best attractions in the area or what hostel will fit my needs the best. My impulsiveness makes me get the most out of every moment. It may stay like that for a while! I like it here, and in saying that, I hope you like it wherever you are. Make something beautiful out of 2019. New Year will be celebrated on the 5th of February here, but I’m still happy to wish all of you a happy new year.
