So, this is what complete freedom feels like? | Phnom Penh | Vlog 15

Like most of my days lately, I explored new temples and street markets with street food. The temples are, of course, a must-do when travelling through Asia. You find them everywhere, but one is more beautiful than the other. Some people are a bit wary of street food. But this is the best way to immerse yourself in each culture fully! It’s cheaper here to buy food on the street markets than to cook it yourself. And, if the locals survive, we should be ok too.

Two weeks of travelling:

Two weeks of travelling! And yes, I know, it’s super cliche to say, but time has already started to get away from me. It is easy to get used to this life! I wake up each morning and the most challenging part of the day is deciding what sights I want to see. I have more freedom than ever before, and I love it. I usually have yet to learn what day it is, and I don’t think anyone around me does. It’s a beautiful lifestyle, not forever, but it’s impressive in the first two weeks.

After two weeks of travelling, I have already seen and experienced so much more than I could have ever imagined seeing in such a short time. Home has become different hostels, and they are slowly becoming a list now. Making new friends every day has become as natural and usual as eating. Breakfast is the easiest time to make friends. People usually wait for other people or plan a day on their phones. So, it’s a matter of having the confidence to go and talk to them. From there, you see if one of your plans fits with the others or not.
