This is how my trip around the world started | Bangkok | Vlog 1

Hello, everybody, and welcome to the first vlog of my travels! I have been terrified of this day for the last few months, and I am still determining what I’m up for. A 7-month trip around the world by myself still sounds scary if you ask me. However, I’m ready to take on this big adventure, and the only way to get started is by starting on the first day

Many times before, I considered cancelling this trip, but I am delighted I never did. Slowly coming closer to this day, all my worries made space for excitement. And yes, this morning, on the first of January 2019, I left my comfortable home for a life on the road. I have been anticipating a little break from my music career for the last year, and here it starts.

My first vlog:

Vlog 1 doesn’t seem like the most exciting day since I’ve just been flying and watching friends, but for me, It’s the start of a big adventure! I drove home after partying with my friends to celebrate New Year’s Eve. Afterwards, my mom and her partner, Gert, who also had a party the night before, took me to Brussels Airport. My backpack was already good to go, so I didn’t have to worry about forgetting some essentials.

There it began. I stepped alone on the first plane to Moscow, where I had a layover on my way to Bangkok, Thailand. The layover could have worked out way differently. My plane landed late in Moscow, and my layover was already short. I had to run across the airport, but luckily I made it in the last few minutes! We are in for some good karma.
