Should I become a travel blogger? | The first days of my trip around the world!

Welcome to the first Blog and Vlog about the first days of my trip around the world! I had planned to write this post yesterday, but I never got around to it due to (party) circumstances. In saying that, the time has finally arrived; I left Belgium indefinitely to travel. I couldn’t be more excited about this, and I’m sure this will be the first post of many to follow.

Instagram countdown to the start of my travelling adventure
My Instagram Countdown!

After sitting on the aeroplane for about 4 hours, I made it to Moscow, had my 1.5-hour layover and got on my 9-hour plane to Bangkok. That was without any rest because I suddenly found it necessary to binge-watch ‘Friends’ on both aircraft. Talking about no sleep, I threw the plan for a quiet day and evening entirely overboard yesterday. The adrenaline of being solely in Bangkok allowed me to fully get lost in the city and explore the nightlife of Khao San Road.

I went for a big party night, but it didn’t interrupt my travel plans in the morning. I visited The Grand Palace, Wat Phra Kaew and Wat Pho and made my first friends. Unfortunately, our paths went in different directions. Still, on my boat trip on the Chao Phraya River, I met another traveller, and we visited Wat Arun and the mega-crazy Chinatown together!

Today I have a quieter evening because there are many things on the itinerary tomorrow. It feels great to get out of bed every morning for a life like this! It is exploring and travelling the entire day, everything I’ve ever wanted.

Thank you so much in advance for following my adventures! Besides my first major solo trip, it is my first official blog post! So many things are about to happen on this website. Thanks for reading the first days of my trip around the world.

Love you all! ❤️ Yentl
