Thailand and its food markets. A love story! | Bangkok | Vlog 5

Another Bangkok vlog is here, and it’s already my last day in the capital of backpackers. I would have loved to stay a bit longer, but I still need to see many places. I’ll probably end up with this feeling everywhere I go. I’ll have to learn to make the best of my time and move on to the next city! It’s going to be this life for a while now, so I better start getting used to it! On today’s itinerary: food markets.

Last day in Bangkok: food markets

My newly made friends and I decided to get a taxi from the busy city centre. After three days in the middle of Bangkok, we needed rest. Together we visited a couple of food markets just outside the city. We tasted so many new and unique traditional foods. All these experiences are new for all of us. We are learning so much from each other and the culture in Thailand

Initially, I was so scared of this travel, but my first destination was fantastic. It was a great last day in Bangkok, and I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. I can only imagine what the rest of this travel will bring me. But I’m sure it will be great too. I’m starting to like this impulsive lifestyle and the freedom that comes with it. The people and the places are amazing, and I’m ready for the upcoming adventures. I can’t wait.

We briefly returned to the hostel for our bags before Mandy and I took the night train to Chiang Mai. After our little trip out, we took the train back to the centre of Bangkok. Charlotte had other plans for tomorrow but promised to follow soon on the way to Chiang Mai.
