I will go and travel for an indefinite duration | Travel time | Itinerary Overview

Travel time, the long-anticipated and much-talked-about start of my journey, is getting closer! Carefully going over everything I’ll take in my backpack, buying better gear, gaining an international passport, booking my flights, searching for travel guides and saying goodbyes to friends and family was only the tip of the iceberg. It took me months to prepare for this adventure, and now, the beginning of it is only a few days away. 

There were so many things to do, but here I am, and from the first of January 2019, I will go and travel for an indefinite duration. Additionally, that means I will only be limited reachable by Facebook and on the contact page. I’ll ensure everybody is up-to-date with this trip by following along on my website.

Travel Time: Destinations

The first destination on my itinerary is Bangkok in Thailand. I leave Belgium on new-years morning, have a layover in Moscow, and get to Bangkok the next day. Afterwards, I will slowly start making my way around South-East Asia. Cambodia and Vietnam are first on the list, followed by Malaysia and Singapore. In addition, I will fly to Australia for a three-month journey around the country from the latter! 

I won’t give too much away about the rest of my travel plans, as I haven’t confirmed anything after Australia. Just check this website regularly, and you’ll find out about everything happening. To make it easier, you can also sign up for the newsletter and get the updates right in your mailbox 🙂

To finish this post, meeting up with everybody in the last few weeks couldn’t have been any better. It was so good to catch up before leaving, and I am already looking forward to seeing all of you again! But here I go, travel time! I wish everybody the best for 2019 and thank you for being such amazing people. I am fortunate to have all of you in my life.
