The magic of Uluru: Pictures – Northern-Territory, Australia

It took me more than two years in Australia to make it to the red centre and see that famous and magical red rock! After hiking the 230km long Larapinta Trail in the Northern Territory, my friend Jesse and I hired a car in Alice Springs. The two major stops on our road trip were Kings Canyon and Uluru (also known as Ayers Rock, but preferably called; Uluru). 

Both Jesse and I captured the whole journey through film and pictures. I’m currently in the progress of editing the videos of the Larapinta Trail, so the videos of Uluru might still take a while.

After sharing the photos of the Kings Canyon trip here on my website, I’m happy to share some of our views on Uluru. We didn’t spare any energy to get pictures from as many places and corners as possible. Photo credits go to Jesse, as she made most of them.

This red centre trip was one of the most exciting ones I have done in Australia to date; we had such a wonderful time, and it was such a magical place to visit! After the Larapinta Trail, that 10km base walks around Uluru was a piece of cake for us, anyway! I’ll write some itineraries and guides for these places later; I’ll let the magic of Uluru speak for now.
