We went to every playground in Hervey Bay | Vlog 90

Today marks my three months anniversary on this trip. An important thing that I’ve learned throughout those months is that things start changing if you travel long-term. Meeting new people and seeing new places daily gets tiring. Sometimes it’s essential to slow down. The need for family and friends is answered by staying around the same people for a while. The need for rest comes when it comes, and it’s essential to listen to yourself when it happens.

There is more than enough time to travel because it doesn’t matter how long you stay when you do it long-term. This trip is my trip, and when I go home will be determined by how much time I need before coming home.

This intro text was way more intense than what’s about to follow. But, in any case, today was such a day. We made some fun plans yesterday evening for today, and after throwing them overboard, it even got better. The hostel lists ten things you need to see in Hervey Bay. So together with two girls I’ve met, we decided to go over that list.

Except, we didn’t care that much about the list. As soon as we ran into a playground, we completely forgot about it! Later we found out that there were accessible playgrounds and waterparks along the whole coast. No tourism today, but let the inner child come out -day! We made it a thing to visit all the playgrounds in Hervey Bay!

Honestly, we had such a good time. Besides, the weather was terrific. To go further on the inner child part, I don’t feel like a little kid; I am still a little kid. I’m still getting ready for a settled life. This travelling is all about it! Happy three months anniversary on this trip for me!
