I almost forgot what rain was? | Agnes Water to Hervey Bay | Vlog 89

The time I spent in Agnes Water and the Town of 1770 was unforgettable! I’ve met and was surrounded by some fantastic people in a hostel that’s one of the best I have stayed in. The atmosphere was indescribable; everything for everyone there just fell into place for a while.

I said goodbye to my friends in the evening as my bus to my next destination, Hervey Bay, would leave early in the morning. I still am on a slight time limit, and there is so much more to follow on this trip; a traveller has to do what he has to do. Sad as I was to go, I was also very excited to get on the road again.

Hervey Bay:

Arriving in Hervey Bay, I went exploring by myself again. I wandered around the harbour on my first rainy day since Chiang Mai. The rain in Cairns doesn’t count; that was barely anything.

I made some friends quickly, and we decided to go into the town for a night party! Afterwards, the hostel organised a free barbecue in the evening to ensure all the guests met up with each other. It was good; I went from one incredible group to the other. Day 90 marks three months, so we also made fun plans for tomorrow.

Thanks, everyone, for following along. I’m almost travelling for three months now. It is about a third of the entire time of this incredible journey. If you have read the previous posts, extending might be a good option. We will have to wait and see what I decide in the end. I do miss Belgium a lot, but this travelling is something I have to do. It feels good and gives me time to go over my life choices in Belgium. I am having a great time!
