Published in the Sharp Traveller Magazine! | We are in the air #yentlasanything

Yentl As Anything made it twice into the King Island Courier earlier this year. The band went a step higher this time, and we made it into the Sharp Traveller Magazine. It’s the magazine aboard every Sharp Airlines plane as an In-flight reader.

Sharp Airlines is a crucial remote airline connecting King Island, Flinders IslandHobart, Launceston, Burnie, Melbourne, and Griffith. With so many routes and travellers, People will notice our publication!

Built on the foundation of inspiring and entertaining readers while providing them with an exciting and informative publication, I’m very proud to be published in such a magazine. It’s a massive step for us, and I look forward to working with the magazine further!

Sharp Traveller Magazine;

The article, by Wade Roskam, the sound engineer of Yentl As Anything, talks about music on King Island in general terms. Wade built and managed Parenna Place Studio, the meeting place for all musicians on King Island. The studio’s equipment includes a complete sound system and everything you need for your band practice.

It has been a massive few months at Parenna Place Studio for Wade. It is incredible to have something so professional in such a remote place like this. Many new music groups are forming on the island, including Rusty Falcon, The Lanky’s and a ukelele group. Even more exciting is that the annual Festival of King Island (FOKI) will go ahead in late January.

Make sure to grab a copy of the Sharp Traveller Magazine if you are flying. I’ll also include a link to read the online version! I cannot wait for other Yentl As Anything publications to pop up. Be sure to keep up to date by checking this website! Our article is on page 40 of the magazine.
