I have entered my second last state of Australia’s eight states and territories that I plan to visit! Upon arriving in Adelaide, or as the locals call it, Radelaide, it is my first time in South Australia. Some good things are coming up, and I’m so happy to be travelling again! It is super exciting to be here, and it’s also on my way to the last state I’ll visit in Australia.
I am staying in North Adelaide for the next few nights, which will be an excellent place to explore the inner city. The Adelaide Oval and Botanical Gardens are only walking distance from my bed. Besides, I can’t wait to start my adventures in the Adelaide Hills. I heard some excellent stories about hiking tracks.
I’ll be walking some sections of the Heysen-Trail. I only considered doing some of the routes; unlike other hiking trails, this one doesn’t feel appealing. That doesn’t mean it’s not worth doing; I’m not discouraging someone from doing it. The Heysen-Trail didn’t call me, which would be recommended for a 1200km trail. Interesting thoughts, it might have been for something other than the Heysen-Trail, but I did like the idea of a 1200km hike. It will be interesting to see where that will end up.
After Adelaide?
How long will I stay in Adelaide? I have a few more adventures planned for the winter months, and Adelaide is getting colder daily. Also, I’m looking into my visa options, as in two months, I have spent two years in Australia. It might be worth flying to New Zealand and having a little break from Australia. A lot of things to think about at the moment, but first, I will enjoy being in Adelaide.
I got some travel videos on the way, and I’m considering taking this website to the next level. I have been posting regularly for the last few months, but I’m still looking for a better way to build my website and organise it. I might hang around in Adelaide for a while to get started on this subject! Let’s see how we go.
