Phoenix Community House Family Christmas Festival 2021 | Yentl As Anything

Yentl as Anything is as popular as ever, and we are already up to our third gig back on King Island! The band cannot wait for this next gig after the success of the ’60s/70’s night at the Club! Phoenix Community House Family Christmas Festival is on November 19th. With live music, a BBQ and loads of giveaways, I am sure it is an event not to miss! As it will be a family event, we are working on our best family-friendly songs out of the over 65 songs we have already played.

Phoenix Community House

Phoenix Community House is an Australian Government-funded facility under the Tasmania Houses scheme. With a brand new facility at the end of Meech Street, it is a fantastic building for the community to use! Phoenix Community House is a great organisation that helps organise many community events.

Services and activities include, but are not limited to: Men’s Shed, Women’s Shed, cooking classes, the King Island Community Garden, scrabble, Heart Foundation, walking, and so much more. My website partner, Avalon, even did a dumpling cooking class, so there is something for everyone!

Further, if you want to see Yentl As Anything in action, check us out on YouTube! However, if you are on the island, come to the Phoenix Community House on November 19th! And watch out for more updates about events and gigs coming up! I will upload photos and a setlist from the ’60s/70’s night this week, so make sure you get them. A big shout out to Michael again for the fantastic shots!
