It seems like I am not leaving yet.. | Agnes Water/1770 | Vlog 86 & 87

Agnes Water is also famous as the Town of 1770. This name is widespread because the town was built on the second landing place in Australia by James Cook in May 1770. The Initial name is Round Hill, after the creek that runs through the area. On the 24th of June 1936, it got renamed 1770 and Agnes Water to recognise the town’s historical importance.

It is evident throughout the whole area. Pretty much everywhere, you run into memorials, anchors and historical landmarks—essential places in Australia’s recent history. Also, a beautiful place with a gorgeous coastline. So, it’s time to explore and find out for me! The hostel I’m staying in, which is also one of the best hostels so far, rents out bikes! We will explore the Town of 1770 by bike for the next few days.

It’s great to see all these beautiful parts of Australia differently. The coastline is fantastic and offers the best of both worlds. There are good views of the rugged rocky sections and lovely beaches in between! There are also free surf lessons and a guitar to worsen it. All of this, in combination with some swimming and good hostel vibes? You don’t even want to leave anymore! How am I supposed to go further?

And that’s precisely how it went. I extended my stay for the last two nights. Every time, somebody talks me into staying a little bit longer! It’s good because I’ve been waiting for a place where I have some friends and can rest a little bit. I love it! There are many great people here, all bonded together, and everybody is extending now. Let’s see how long it will take me to leave; there is still so much to see along the east coast! Not that I was worrying anyone in the last couple of days.
