This is the reason why I travel around the world | Pangandaran Green Canyon | Vlog 132

We had such a fantastic day yesterday! Together with two girls I met at my homestay, we explored the rainforest on a personalized tour. We followed a river through the forest and got into the water wherever possible. Initially, our tour guide said we couldn’t do a separate tour today because they needed more guides. However, when we arrived, he brought us excellent news this morning—they had found another person to take us further on our tour. As a bonus, we were able to combine both the personalized tour and the standard Pangandaran Green Canyon tour. Lucky us!

These two days are among the highlights of everything I’ve experienced in Asia. Comparing it to my Australian adventures is difficult—they’re so different! But when it comes to Asia, this experience has been absolutely overwhelming.

Pangandaran Green Canyon: 

In the morning, we took a boat into the Pangandaran Green Canyon. What a fantastic sight! This is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. The boat itself was also an adventure—an old fisher boat rather than a fancy motorboat. We exited the Pangandaran Green Canyon, passing spectacular places to swim and jump into the water. From there, our guide took us on our own private experiences.

After exiting the Canyon, we reached a river again. We walked along it to find the best spots for jumping into the water. I say this as if it was a short trip, but it lasted for hours! Eventually, we returned to the Pangandaran Green Canyon, where we exited via the second tour boat.

I returned home from the tour pretty early, considering how many incredible things we experienced today. Since tomorrow I’ll be on the move again, I wanted to plan the coming days. For the remainder of my time, I visited a local park and wildlife reserve to see some Javanese animals.
