The first few weeks of my travel adventure are flying by. I can’t believe I’m already in Vietnam after crossing Cambodia and Thailand off the bucket list. It took months of preparation and planning. I edited a video of my trip to Ayutthaya to keep those memories alive.
Planning out this trip is the key to this adventure. Each day includes a fully packed itinerary of sights and activities for me. I am also trying to meet as many people as possible, so it’s a full-on journey. Today I’ll share with you my Ayutthaya video.
Ayutthaya: the former capital of Siam (Thailand)
After my experiences in Bangkok and Chiang Mai, it was time to explore the old capital of Thailand. To get here from Chiang Mai, I took a night bus back to Bangkok and left early in the morning by train to get to Ayutthaya. Ayutthaya was abandoned in 1767 after an attack by the Burmese.
Unfortunately, I only got to spend one day in Ayutthaya, but it was worth the day trip. It would have been nice to have two days to have the best chance to take everything in, but that’s a lesson I have learnt now. Making these little videos is fun and a great way to remember everything. I hope you enjoy the Ayutthaya video; there will be more!
