Melbourne – take 3 | How does this keep happening to me?

After two fantastic weeks of working and playing music on King Island, I am flying to Melbourne Airport again tomorrow morning. It’s my third time now, and I’ll explore a little more Victoria while transiting.

I know the winter is slowly making its way to the south of Australia, and I want to escape it this time! Plans for after my take 3 in Melbourne have yet to be finalised, but I have some vague and exciting ideas. I’ll let you know when they are planned. The first step, for now, will be visiting Phillip Island.

Take 3: Phillip Island

The main attraction on Phillip Island is the famous penguin parade. I’ll skip that main attraction as I saw many penguins on King Island, and I didn’t have to pay to see them. I’ll give you many places where you don’t have to pay a minimum of 30 $ to see penguins and where you don’t end up with a hundred other people around you.

I’ll be happier focusing more on the walking tracks around the island. I can use that extra training if my other plans work out! I got told that the coastline is incredible, so I can’t wait to go and check it out. I’m also very excited about the chocolate factory and the race track on my way! It might even write a list soon with all the great things you can walk to on Phillip Island.

King Island:

It was as great as I had hoped to return to King Island. Our Yentl As Anything gig was incredible, and we had our best and biggest crowd to date. My GoPro recorded a couple of songs I will share on the Yentl As Anything page, so go and check that out. I might put one of the recordings in this post! Michael Laskey, our beloved photographer, was also at our gig, so I’m sure pictures will follow soon!
