A couple of weeks ago, I announced my new music project: Yentl As Anything. Included in that same post was a list of our upcoming concerts. Weeks later, the band already played the first gig on that list; The Harbour Bash Festival in Currie Harbour. King Island‘s leading photographer, Michael Laskey, took some fantastic pictures, and I like to share them here on my website.
A big shoutout to my favourite band members: Daniel, Jess and Tom, for making our shows unforgettable. Lastly, thank you, Wade, for just about everything. Introducing me to the musicians on this island, getting me to the recording studio, and doing a fantastic job on the Yentl As Anything sound. This music project makes me so happy, and it’s always looking forward to Sundays to go out and rehearse with the band.
Some website readers said they had been waiting for updates and would like to see me post more regularly! And, yes, my last updates were almost a year ago. The year turned out to be slightly different than anyone could have expected. But there is a light at the end of the tunnel, and I’m slowly making plans again. Besides, the summer returned to King Island, and the following weeks will be fabulous with all our upcoming gigs. I’ll make sure to provide you with more updates again! 🙂
