This is why I bought a bus pass | Brisbane | Vlog 96 and 97

Besides that, it sometimes limits my freedom; I love this 45-day bus passYesterday, I left the remoteness of K’gari (Fraser Island), got back to Noosa, had a night in the hostel, and then just had to sit and wait for the bus to busy city life in Brisbane. I didn’t have to worry about anything except being everywhere on time. It was such a good idea and made life very easy for me.

It’s even better since I’m travelling in the opposite direction than most travellers. My bus is always empty. The travellers that go north have to make their bookings ahead as those buses are much busier. There are always spots available, how convenient. How not being organised sometimes works in your favour, haha! I can wake up and change my mind.

Welcome to Brisbane:

It’s my first two days in Brisbane, and after travelling for over three months, I found a rhythm that works for me. I did my almost traditional tour now, wandering and exploring without a real plan and going everywhere and nowhere in the city centre. It’s funny because it makes me feel organised in this everyday lifestyle. The first days are walking around and discovering! A park here, botanical gardens there, a shopping mall afterwards. What a great life! The days after, I plan my visits more carefully so I don’t feel later like I’ve wasted time.

My travels in Queensland are ending, and soon I’ll be going to New South Wales. I have yet to plan out much, but I’m excited to make my way to Sydney now!

It’s also almost the end of my Australian travels, and I’ve decided not to extend my stay but, if needed, to come back afterwards. I am still determining where I’m going next. At the moment, I’m still convinced that New Zealand is my next destination! But I do have to admit it’s been changing a lot lately!
