Mandy and I arrived in the late morning at Chiang Mai central station. The journey was incredible; I slept pretty well on board the train, and every time I looked out of the windows, there was this typical Thailand countryside view. We took a tuk-tuk taxi from the airport to the hostel and checked in. We didn’t have much time to lose as we only had a few days here. Immediately the trip continued with some sightseeing in Chiang Mai. Charlotte texted in the morning that her plans had changed and she would take the bus to meet up with us in the evening. The three of us went to see and eat at one of the many food markets. In the evening we made lots of friends, and there were people here that are travelling for more than three years now. Isn’t that crazy?
