Percussion Ensemble

Early in my music career, the administrative board of the Drum- & Percussionband Paal invited me to take over the role of artistic director. I was still in high school but couldn’t let the opportunity slide. The Drum- & Percussionband Paal was the Percussion Ensemble I grew up in and where I learned my first steps playing the percussion. Unfortunately, the previous director had taken all sheet music due to poor agreements with the leadership. A couple of months later, we performed our first concert with my arrangements exclusively. In the years after, we played multiple performances in and outside Belgium. My arrangements even landed us first prize in the Limburg Provincial Percussion competition and second in the National Percussion Competition. Later the Meerhout Percussion Orchestra invited me as an artistic director due to the diversity of my arrangements. I continued both orchestras until I left for Travel.

Publishing these Percussion Ensemble arrangements has always been the intent from the start. Yet, years later, after numerous e-mails to different companies, we still needed to find a suitable agreement. Meanwhile, I found other legal ways to get these arrangements on the Internet.
