Do you play the drums?

The drum transcription section includes transcriptions and drum sheet music of popular songs, drum solos and jazz-drum solos with accompanying analyses. I wrote most of these transcriptions for my students or myself to progress and develop as a drummer. Whether a beginner or an experienced drummer, these transcriptions are excellent tools to expand your skills and technique.

Need help in becoming a Rhythmical expert?

Permutations are my favourite way of becoming an expert in rhythmical reading and playing. It is a fun and fast way to become a better musician than most rhythmical training books. As the idea of permutation is to play or practise all combinations possible, the concept behind permutations is more mathematically than musically.

Watch and learn!

The Drum Book Videos in the educational sections include videos of popular drum book exercises. These videos were made for my students, but I’m happy to share them here so they can be helpful to everybody. You can learn much from watching others’ techniques! Many musicians learn best from watching others perform.

Play music together!

The percussion ensemble section includes some of the original and arrangement songs that I wrote for my percussion ensembles. Most of these arrangements were written for about 10 to 16 players but are easily adjustable. All these songs were performed regularly and adjusted until they sounded the best.
