My friend Jesse and I recently walked the Larapinta Trail in the Northern Territory, just outside of Alice Springs. We captured our trip through film, photos and in a journal. I have added pictures and extracts from the journals here for you to experience the adventure with us. Videos will follow soon. This post will be the last post for now about the Larapinta Trail. We hope you enjoyed and thanks for following along.
Lots of love, Yentl and Jesse.
Day 15: Jay Creek – Wallaby Gap
Today was an easy day track-wise. We only had about 10 km of pretty even ground. We arrived at camp around 2 pm and have just been relaxing in the sun after checking out Wallaby Gap. Tomorrow is sadly our last day on the trail.
Day 16: Wallaby Gap to our hostel.
The walk from Wallaby Gap to Telegraph Station was nice. Actually, it was a lot nicer than anticipated. It was great summiting each slight crest and seeing Alice Springs from above getting closer and closer as we moved along. Although, it was also sad. We realized that with each km, we were getting closer and closer to the end.
